How Long We Retain Your Data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website or sign up for a newsletter, we store the personal information they provide in their user profile indefinitely. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Security logs are retained for 60 days.

How We Share Your Data

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your Personal Information.

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

Security Check

This site is scanned for potential malware and vulnerabilities by the iThemes Site Scanner. We do not send personal information to the scanner; however, the scanner could find personal information posted publicly (such as in comments) during the scan.

Legal Proceedings

In some cases we may provide your Personal Information to law enforcement agencies as required to do so by law or if we believe in good faith that it is in our best interest or in that of our users. In the event of an acquisition or a transfer of Outdoor Empire’s assets to another company or organization, we may assign, or transfer, your Personal Information we have stored at that time to the party acquiring. The new owner of this website may not have the same privacy policy as us.
